This bear had just finished swimming across the river, he climbed onto a fallen log, and started to shake himself. A close look at his snout shows how hard he was shaking.
This picture was taken in the Great Bear Rainforest. It was late September, and the bears had been feeding extensively on salmon, therefore he was quite fat.
This gentle bear was just resting among the flowers in the early spring. We nicknamed her “Goldie” due to her colour.
